Garth is a long-time Ambassador of the Leukaemia Foundation – an organisation that helps to increase awareness of leukaemia, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.

Holden has been a proud supporter of the Leukaemia Foundation since 2003 and provides the Foundation with 12 vehicles around Australia that are used to transport more than 5,000 patients and their families to and from their treatments.  As an Ambassador of the Leukaemia Foundation Garth volunteers his time to assist with patient transfers.

The Leukaemia Foundation provides free support services for patients and families including accommodation near hospital, transport to and from treatment, information, education and financial assistance while funding cutting-edge research into better treatments and cures.

Garth also assists the Foundation by co-hosting one of its major fundraising events – ‘Light the Night’ - held in Melbourne’s Alexandria Gardens.

“As Holden’s Leukaemia Foundation Ambassador I’m really touched by the positivity and hope that ‘Light the Night’ generates. When the Leukaemia Foundation asked me to take on the co-hosting role I jumped at the chance.

I love my role as a Leukaemia Foundation patient transport driver, and this new role takes my involvement one step further and will hopefully help to raise awareness about the work of the Leukaemia Foundation”
