Winton didn't really go to plan... We had reasonable qualifying pace but in the races we just couldn't get the car to look after the soft tyre. The good news is that we're done with the "sprint" tyre for now and it's back to the control tyre for Darwin. Speaking of Darwin, I can't wait to get up there. It's fantastic having Darwin and then Townsville in the middle of winter, gives those of us living in Melbourne a bit of a break from the cold! Plus, I love the circuit at Darwin, it always provides good, close racing and if history is anything to go by, hopefully we can get back on the podium. |

GT's Winton Woes
Despite Winton being Garth and Toll HRT's test track, it was a tough weekend for the whole team as Garth's car struggled to look after the soft tyre during races.

GT's Comeback Continues
Garth's championship fightback has continued at Queensland Raceway, moving up to fourth in the Championship standings after scoring his 5th podium position this season.

Hamilton Race Wrap Up
Garth Tander has jumped six spots to fifth place on the driver points table, but Tander will continue to approach the 2010 V8 Supercar Championship on a race-by-race basis as he and the Toll Holden Racing Team continue to claw themselves back into title contention.

GT's GP Victory
After taking out both races at the Clipsal 500 two weeks earlier, Garth and his team were keen to keep the momentum going with a strong performance at the Grand Prix. As the V8 Supercar GP Challenge is a non-championship event, it is a great opportunity for the team to test different components or set-ups they might otherwise not try during a race meeting.
